2019 has been quite the year! There has been so much that has been so wonderful and at the same time, so much that I would never want to live through again.

My beautiful family has enjoyed amazing times together; fun family excursions around Lancaster County, trips to the family cabin, a trip to Pittsburg to visit family, time away at Camp of the Woods and so much fun enjoying everyday life. Amidst all the wonderful times, there has been a big cloud in the journey. After a few months of baffling sickness, our 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy. It has been quite the journey of learning! We are praising God each day for our sweet girl and that we have the privilege of love her through it all. Our beautiful 4 year old started preschool, which I am still unsure how I feel about it! She is growing into such a amazing little girl!

On a business side of things, KMP has been growing by leaps and bounds this year, and that is very much due to the amazing education i have gotten through Katelyn James online courses! I have learned so much about Photography, lighting and posing that has been invaluable with my work. I have so much more to learn, but am thoroughly enjoying the process!

At the beginning of 2019, I had planned to only do Weddings, Newborn and Maternity with the occasional family session. I have since realized that I can’t choose, I just love it all and so for the foreseeable future, KMP is just going to embrace all the different kinds of sessions! This year, I had dozens of families, tons of baby bumps and precious newborns, senior portraits and beautiful little ones. Over the course of the year, I also had the privilege of being a part of capturing 20 weddings, 12 of them for other photographers, and 8 of my own. I am so blessed to absolutely love what I do!
