Photographing Luke & Rachel, A Silk Mill Wedding, was such an honor. I met Rachel’s parents over 20 years ago while I was growing up in Kijabe, Kenya. The Wagners moved to Kenya in order to work at Rift Valley Academy, the school I attended. At some point over the years, we became Facebook friends, and I was so excited to see that her kids were starting to get married. I was BEYOND thrilled when Rachel reached out to ask me if I would be available to capture her day. It was so much fun to see people from home and to be a part of such a beautiful wedding.
Luke and Rachel met they were just 8 years old while living in Kenya and on April 8 they tied the Knot in Lancaster, PA. The guys and the girls both got ready in beautiful AirBnbs. The day had started out pretty dreary, but as soon as I pulled into the location of the first look, Ephrata Township Park, the day turned into an absolute dream. We capture stunning images of Luke and Rachel as well as their bridal party, and then headed over to Oasis Mennonite Fellowship where they said ‘I Do’ before God and their family and closest friends. The day ended upstairs from the church at the Silk Mill with a fabulous time of food, fellowship and dancing.
Enjoy a little sneak into Luke & Rachel, A Silk Mill Wedding!
